Crafts Created During the Visit
On March 9th, 2018, we visited Meadowthorpe Elementary to plant cone flowers and create bee friendly crafts with the class we partnered with for the educational program. We collected paint pens, bee related stickers, ceramic pots, dirt, cone flower seeds, trash bags, yellow rice, tissue paper, water bottles, glue sticks and much more and got to work. We split the kids into partnerships so they could share a pot to decorate. The results of this trip were a lot of happy children, 10 pots of cone flowers, and many, many bees.
